About the Role

As a Content Technician, you’ll be directly involved in the packing, moving, cleaning, and inventorying of household and commercial items for restoration purposes. This hands-on position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively. You’ll find yourself contributing to meaningful transformations in a fast-paced, supportive, and team-oriented environment. 

Whether you’re carefully wrapping furniture to ensure safe transport, problem-solving logistical challenges, or communicating effectively with your team, your work will play a crucial role in our mission to restore homes and businesses. 

Key Responsibilities 

Packing

Pack items efficiently into boxes, ensuring proper wrapping and protection of furniture and valuables.

Moving & Cleaning

  • Safely lift and carry items.
  • Handling heavy items.
  • Load and unload trucks with precision and care.
  • Palletize content for secure transport.
  • Stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain). 
  • Master the art of content restoration with various techniques for any content type

Technology Usage

  • Use an iPad for accurate inventory management. 
  • Communicate with team members using chat applications. 
  • Operate Albi software for job tracking, clocking in/out, and real-time updates.

Team Collaboration

  • Work effectively within teams of 2–8 individuals. 
  • Follow instructions provided by the Team Lead. 
  • Communicate professionally and contribute to a positive team culture. 

Safety Practices

  • Apply proper lifting and moving techniques to avoid injury.
  • Use moving tools and equipment safely, adhering to training and demonstrated procedures.

Qualifications 

  • Strong problem-solving skills, such as fitting large furniture through tight spaces or addressing inventory discrepancies.
  • Excellent attention to detail for precise inventorying and safe handling of client property.
  • Reliable, punctual, and ready to work with a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
  • Customer service focus with professionalism and empathy.

Applicant Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must own a reliable cell phone and have consistent transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must provide references.

Schedule & Location

  • Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
  • Work Location: All tasks are performed in person.
